Oliveum LLC (“Oliveum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website oliveum.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order or contact us
- Payment information at checkout, processed directly by WooPayments — we do not receive or store your full card number
- Your email address and name if you sign up for our mailing list
- Any information you submit through our contact form
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, via standard web server logs and cookies
- Cart and session cookies used to operate the store (e.g., remembering items in your cart)
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfill orders, including payment processing, shipping, and customer service
- Send order confirmations and transactional emails
- Send marketing emails, if you’ve opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Show you relevant ads and measure ad performance, as described below
- Maintain the security of the Site and prevent fraud
Advertising and Analytics
We use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google advertising tools to reach customers and prospective customers. As part of this, we may share a hashed (not readable) version of your email address and/or phone number with Meta and Google through their Customer Match / Custom Audiences features. This allows us to:
- Show ads to existing customers (e.g., new product announcements)
- Exclude existing customers from new-customer acquisition campaigns
- Ask these platforms to find new prospective customers who share characteristics with our existing customers (“lookalike” or “similar” audiences)
Meta and Google do not receive your raw contact information in readable form — only a one-way cryptographic hash used solely for matching against their own logged-in users.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising generally via the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative, or opt out with Meta and Google directly through their respective ad-preference settings.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share information with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, including:
- WooPayments — payment processing
- Mailchimp — email marketing
- Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC — advertising and analytics, as described above
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order
- Any party required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Data Retention
We retain order and customer information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, comply with tax/accounting obligations, and support legitimate business purposes such as customer service and fraud prevention.
Your Rights and Choices
- Email marketing: unsubscribe anytime via the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.
- Access/deletion: you can request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@oliveum.com.
- California residents: you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, and opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (which includes the Customer Match/Custom Audiences use described above). To opt out, email contact@oliveum.com with “CCPA Opt-Out” in the subject line.
Children’s Privacy
Oliveum.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent revision.
